This Privacy Policy describes your relationship with us with respect to information that identifies or can be used to identify you (sometimes referred to as “personal information” or “personal data” under applicable privacy and data security laws, however, we will use the term “personal information” in this Privacy Policy) when you use our website(s) and other online products or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Services”) or when you otherwise interact with us. We may partner with third parties to provide added value to the Services. We will make available to you the privacy policies of those third parties if they will receive information in connection with those experiences. We receive and store information about you such as:

  • Information you provide to us: We collect information you provide to us, including:
    • Your name, email address, address or zip code, country, payment method(s), telephone number, information pertaining to your Properties which include a physical address, pictures of the Properties, etc.

With respect to payment methods specifically, we do not store or process any credit card, banking, or other financial information as such information is handled and processed by third parties such as Plaid and Finix who merely provide us with anonymized tokens or transaction’s identifiers that enable us to complete transactions.

  • The processing of your financial information by Plaid in particular is subject to Plaid’s privacy policy which you expressly acknowledge and accept and can be found here: https://www.plaid.com/privacy.

    • We collect this information in several ways, including when you provide it while using our Service, communicate with our customer service team, or participate in promotional activities or respond to surveys;
    • Information when you elect to provide ratings, account settings, or otherwise provide information to us through our Service or elsewhere.
  • Information collected automatically: We collect information about you and your use of our Service, your interactions with us and our advertising, as well as information regarding your network, network devices, and your computer or other Service-capable devices you might use to access our service. This information may include without limitation:

    • your activity on the Service and your search queries;
    • your interactions with us through email and text message;
    • your interactions with other users and transaction history as it pertains to licensing transactions.
    • inferences drawn about your interests and preferences based on your usage of the Service;
    • details of your interactions with our customer service, such as the date, time and reason for contacting us, transcripts of any chat conversations, and if you call us, your phone number and call recordings;
    • unique device identifiers, including for your network devices, and devices that are Service-capable on your wifi network;
    • resettable device identifiers (also known as advertising identifiers), such as those on mobile devices, tablets, and streaming media devices that include such identifiers;
    • may include cookies and web beacons, including advertising information (such as information on the availability and delivery of advertisements, the website address, and the date and time).

4. USE OF INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Service. We also use the information we collect to:

  • Communicate with you about updates, technical notices, security alerts and support and administrative messages and to respond to your questions, comments, and customer service requests;
  • Inform you of products, services, offers, and events that we and others offer.
  • Connect you with opportunities to license digital media/advertising space on your real estate assets (“Properties”) and/or for advertisers, connect you with opportunities to purchase advertising space with respect to a Property in a metaverse environment.
  • Personalize and improve the Service and provide licensing opportunities that match user profiles or interests. Your interests and preferences are inferred from information we collect regarding the types of content that you have interacted with, and the nature, frequency, and duration of your interaction with the content;
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage and activities in connection with our Service and personalize and improve the Service;
  • Process your payment through the use of third party services like Plaid and Finix. With respect to Plaid in particular, the manner in which they handle any information you or we provide to them is disclosed in their privacy policy which can be found here: https://www.plaid.com/privacy;
  • Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
  • Facilitate and execute licensing transactions with respect to Properties.
  • To verify the documents or information you provide, we may contact banks, insurers, governmental agencies, title companies, and similar institutions as part of the verification process. By using the Service, you authorize these verification communications.

5. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

In general, your personal information will remain with us but we may share personal information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

  • We share your personal information with our affiliated legal entities where necessary to fulfill a contract or precontractual measures, or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so (such as providing you with access to our Service, providing customer support, or content development) or a legal obligation to do so;
  • With vendors, consultants, and other service providers who process your information on our behalf when they provide services to us, for example data analytics, ad networks, research, marketing and financial services (we do not authorize them to use or disclose your personal information except in connection with providing their services, including maintaining and improving their services);

6. ACCESS TO ACCOUNT AND PROFILES

Account owners and users should familiarize themselves with the below guidelines regarding account access:

  • “Remember me” function: For ease of access, you can use the “Remember me” feature when you log in to your account. This feature allows us to provide direct account access and to help administer the Service without requiring the re-entry of a password or other user identification each time your browser revisits the Service.
  • Removing account access: You may remove access to your Service account by visiting the account section of our web site for instructions or, on most devices, deleting your Service settings from the device. Users of public or shared devices should log out upon finishing their use of the Service each time.
